Sew Editor user manual

Ready Tab and Quality Checks

Use Sew Editor Ready guidance to prepare a design without treating warnings as guarantees.

Read the status

Ready summarizes whether checks report Ready or Needs attention. Review every item before exporting: hoop fit, thread colors and Production Sheet labels, short stitches, dense areas, long jumps or trims, color changes, and tie-in/tie-off choices.

Resolve warnings

  1. Fix hoop fit first so all subsequent measurements describe the intended size.
  2. Inspect too-small objects, short-stitch clusters, and dense regions; resize, simplify, or change relevant settings.
  3. Review travel distance and long jumps; change order or trim settings where useful.
  4. Label thread stops for production documentation. Unlabeled colors do not block machine export.
  5. Review color-change trims and finishing, recalculate, and check the list again.

Warnings are design-data guidance. They cannot account fully for fabric, stabilizer, needle, thread, tension, hooping, machine behavior, or operator choices, and they do not guarantee a perfect result.
