Editor Layout and Main Workspace
Find the header, toolbar, canvas, settings tabs, and design panels in the Sew Editor workspace.
Header and main toolbar
The Sew Editor name in the top header returns to the homepage. The header also shows file or project status and the main menu. The canvas toolbar is divided into Draw, Order, Transform, and Align. Select/Edit, Pan canvas, Reset view, and stitch playback remain close to the canvas.
Canvas and guides
- The hoop boundary represents the selected hoop; the inner margin guide reserves clearance from its edge.
- The optional grid helps place artwork. Zoom, Pan canvas, and Reset view change only the view.
- A selected object shows a selection box and applicable move, resize, or rotate handles.
Side panels
The left settings tabs are General, View, Finishing, Hoop, Cleanup, and Quality. They control design-wide defaults, preview aids, finishing stitches, hoop limits, cleanup, and diagnostic thresholds. The right panel contains Ready, Objects, Threads, Palette, Cleanup, and Info.
