Creating and Editing Text

Add readable embroidery lettering and adjust the text options supported by each object.

Add text

  1. Select Text in Draw and click the placement point.
  2. Enter the content in the text object settings.
  3. Choose the available font, size, alignment, style, and stitch mode.
  4. Move or resize the text, recalculate, and inspect the stitch preview.

Text settings support content, font family, size, alignment, bold and italic, filled or outline presentation, letter spacing, line spacing, and multiple lines where those controls apply. The object remains editable, while the preview converts its current outlines or fill into stitches.

Keep lettering sewable

Small letters can collapse into short stitches and dense corners. Use a simpler font, increase size or spacing, avoid very fine strokes, and check counters inside letters. Resizing text like another object also changes its embroidery scale, so revisit density and Max. stitch length.
