Hoop and Design Size
Choose hoop dimensions and margin, read size, and keep artwork inside the sewing area.
Set the available area
The Hoop tab controls hoop size and margin. The outer canvas boundary represents the hoop; the margin guide marks a safer inset work area. Info and Ready report design width, height, and fit status.
- Choose a hoop supported by the receiving machine.
- Set an appropriate margin rather than using the physical edge as the design limit.
- Place or resize the full design within the guide.
- Use Fit Design to Hoop when offered, then inspect any newly small details.
- Confirm Fits hoop in Ready before export.
Selection dimensions describe selected artwork; full-design dimensions include all stitch-producing objects. A selection can fit while another unselected object remains outside the hoop.
