Production Sheet and Thread Chart

Create an embroidery production sheet and thread reference for the machine operator.

Choose the document

Use the export buttons in Ready. A Production Sheet is the broader operator reference: it can contain the design preview, physical size, stitch count, thread chart, preflight warnings, and finishing information. A Thread Chart CSV is a portable ordered thread list.

Prepare useful metadata

  1. Open Threads and label each stop with available thread name, code, and notes.
  2. Review order, swatch/hex color, and per-stop stitch counts where available.
  3. Export the Production Sheet for a readable job reference.
  4. Export the Thread Chart CSV when the ordered data will be stored or opened in spreadsheet software.
  5. Keep the documents with the matching machine-file version.

These files are particularly important with DST because DST records stops but not exact RGB thread colors. The documents preserve the intended spool references for the operator; they do not embed those colors back into DST.
