Keyboard Shortcuts
Use the keyboard commands that are currently implemented in the editor.
Core editing shortcuts
Sew Editor currently keeps shortcuts minimal. Shortcuts do not run while focus is in a text field or another editable control.
- Ctrl/⌘ + Z: Undo. Ctrl/⌘ + Shift + Z or Ctrl/⌘ + Y: Redo.
- Delete or Backspace: delete selected object outside Edit Points; in Edit Points, delete the selected point.
- Arrow keys: nudge selected artwork 1 mm. Hold Alt for 0.1 mm or Shift for 10 mm.
- Escape: cancel drawing, point editing, or a start/end pick mode.
Drawing shortcuts
- Enter: finish an active Manual Stitch, Path, Region, Polygon, or Bezier drawing where applicable.
- While drawing Manual Stitch or Bezier, Delete or Backspace removes the most recent drawing point.
- Hold Space for temporary canvas panning. Hold Shift during rectangle/ellipse sizing to constrain proportions, or Alt during supported placement to bypass snapping.
